Today brings another set of stories from the BBC Pess hand out division.
The presentation layer is this page
Please take a listen to the item concerning the BMW steering wheel.
In this presentation listen to it from the point of view that narrator talks of the WTC collapsed by fire and gravity and the building fell down.
Now listen to the same presentation from the point of view that the narrator talks of the WTC having exploded by bombs and explosives.
From what the narrator speaks about, which point of view most easily fits his description?
1,100 vehicles found at the site
some of the vehicles were intact, many of the vehicles were in pieces
all pieces were inspected very closely by the FBI
this particular piece is from a car that was utterly destroyed
it was from a piece that was very rust axle and piece of the car and this was the most recognizable piece
just over half of the people that were killed that day were found, some piece of them was found, almost half of them were never found
found almost 5,000 pieces of human remains
the only thing a family might get back is a credit card, a drivers license or a ring.
The most common word this guy uses is “piece”. Pieces of things. Down to a small coin size.
Does this sound like words you would use to describe a building that collapsed, or a building that was blown up??
2,900 people died in the building, half of them were never found, but they found 5,000 pieces of human remains in the wreckage.
What would cause him to describe the steering column of a car that was driven to the site and then ‘crushed’ in the collapse, to become ‘very rusty’? Of all the things you could note about it, you notice to the point of commentating on it being very rusty. What would cause that rust to happen?
What would cause that? A highly corrosive by-product of Thermite cutting charges??
